High School Performance

Performance at a high school... heh. Fun. Especially cause I knew some of the people there, cause it was for my school and another school... OH! Gabby-Willy was there, if anyone remembers her. (:0

Letter to my Geometry Teacher

To my wonderful Geometry teacher:

You're supposed to teach us how to do this math BEFORE you make us do the extremely hard homework.

Thank you.

--Your hundereds of students trying to figure this out on their own, cause their TEACHER won't TEACH THEM.

Wintergreeeen!!

I got this amazing new toothpaste. It says it's 'original flavor', and I wondered what it was, so I got it. It's wintergreen flavor, and if you know me you would know that I LOVE wintergreen!! (Actually, you wouldn't know that cause I never talk about it. I never get wintergreen stuff, cause there's not that much around.)
So, yeah, really happy with this toothpaste.
I also like how it's not all fancy-looking-like. It's simple and looks like it could have been around in the '60s. Meaning it probably doesn't have crazy chemicals and whatnot. Simple is better when it comes to toothpaste.

Track

Track is taking up so much time. Every single day except for Sundays and sometimes Saturdays we have practice until late in the afternoon.
I'm so doing Cross Country this year.
I can't have Track play around with my schedule like this.

Chinese Yo-Yo Performances

I'm sorry, but Chinese Yo-Yo performances are so much more fun without Chicken.

A Message From My Lovely Cat

vbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmkmk0...7

Track

UGH!! Guess what middle distance did in track today? We ran fifteen 200-meter runs. (Well, I actually did 17, but I'll get to that later.)
It was like a relay; you sprint half a lap, hand it off to someone while you try to recover, then, before you know it, the baton is in your hand and you take off again. Fifteen times. By the fifth one, I was having a really hard time just breathing, and I felt like I was about to throw up. And that was just the fifth. After the eighth, things started getting better. And by the last one (an hour later) I was sprinting the last 50 meters.
Afterwards, I ran another lap (400 meters, or two 200s) just for a cool-down. And fifteen 200s is a half less lap for of two miles, so why stop there when you can run more and say that you practically sprinted two miles (but not back-to-back)?
That was the only thing we did in our workout today. It was the hardest yet. It really doesn't sound like much, but, trust me, it really is. Especially when you're running with seniors who train year-round.
Oh, yeah, another thing. Coach knows my name. She knows it's Annasophie. But with her, you have to be an upperclassman to get her respect. The doesn't appreciate any effort unless it's given by an upperclassman. That's not me. I'm a freshman. So what does she call me? 'Tiny.' Yeah. Great nickname, huh? And then other people started calling me that. I really don't care all that much. It's kinda annoying, but, I mean, if they don't to respect me, they don't have to. Just see if I respect them back.
But by the end of practice, no one called me that anymore. Whatever. Good for them. It's not like I'll be in track next year, anyway. So if Coach thinks that she doesn't have to use my effort, fine, but she better not be thinking, "I'll just train her this year and let her get up to what she's good at next year." No. Doesn't work that way. She won't be seeing me next year.

LOVE This

www.deargirlsaboveme.com is so funny. The guy writing it (it's kind of a blog with short, funny posts) lives in an apartment in a room under two girls who don't seem to think before they speak. He can hear everything they say, and he comments on them. (They don't know he does this... they don't even know him.)

Agent

I'm going to postpone the meeting with the agent until I'm out of track season, which ends in April.

LEMONS!!

Who knew it's so hard to take pictures of lemons?? Well, probably cause I was using this super-sophisticated camera that refused to take bad pictures that were out of focus..

Here's a cool one of olives. They look like cyber-space UFOs.

TV

I got out of school early to be on TV.
It was okay.
I mean, it was just TV.
So, yeah.

Agent?

Because I'm so busy with track, my potential agent is wondering whether or not I will be available for auditions. Pray that this will work out and my track coach will make exceptions for me...
Cause I really need it.

Last Performance...

Last night was our last 'Music Man' performance. It was really good, (actually, pretty average) and Sammie came! I didn't know she would come... Thanks, Sam!
We actually got to watch some of the parts where we weren't playing. When we had that time, we would all go to the front of the pit and stand on chairs to watch those particular scenes. In one scene, when Professor Hill was trying to convince Marian to let Winthrop play the cornet, Zechariah sneezed a HUGE sneeze. And Zechariah isn't the most... well... skinny person, so it was a really funny sight. It reminded me of a rhinocerous sneezing.

ENDER'S GAME!!

My dad got the book 'Ender's Game' for me, and I read it. I really liked it, and hoped they made a movie. And they are! Asa Butterfield (from 'Hugo' and 'Nanny McPhee Returns') will be playing Ender!

He looks kinda like Fletcher from ANT Farm...

Agent and TV

I can't go to the meeting with the agent at the time I had planned before, cause I'm kinda going to be on TV then, so I'll have to reschedule the meeting.

Three Down!

Three down, one to go!
'The Music Man', I love thee!

Homework... and late.

I stayed up until 1:30 this morning doing a Chinese project. Why didn't I do it before? Music Man. Not a bad thing. I like a busy schedule, but... I could have just done what almost everyone else in my class did-- grab a poster and a black marker and write everything down. I didn't do that. I made an effort to make it look nice-- and it looks great.
But my presentation part of it?
Not so great. I didn't catch the parts about "memorizing" parts of it...

I LOVE!!

I LOVE DUSTIN OKRA!!
Not romantically, of course. Just the "he's so absolutely amazing" kind.
Dustin Okra plays Harold Hill (the lead) in our school's musical, 'The Music Man', and, to tell the truth, when I first heard his voice, I thought he was a total maniac. But now every time he says his first line, "Well, you men intrigue me!" I'm always like, "Goooooo Dustin!!
I think him and Sammie would be best friends.
And while I'm listening to some of the actors failing their lines, I'm glad our school has SOMEONE talented.
Oh, and, speaking of UNtalented, ZACHERIAH (just kidding, Zacheriah is really talented... considering the fact that he's ranked second in his class) had this app on his phone (which wasn't supposed to be on during the performance). You type in your name in the app, and it gives you an absurd nickname. He showed me Anna's nickname during the performance, and I laughed so hard that my sides hurt more than they hurt during track workouts. Anna's wonderful nickname was... Tasty Sparklethighs.
Yes. Tasty. Sparkle. Thighs.
The whole violin section (once seeing it) started laughing reaaaaally quietly. Without a sound... cause what was going on onstage was kinda important and NOT funny...
Oh, Zacheriah.
And his app.

No...

No, school, I dot not need a letter of recommendation.

Wells Fargo Wagon

"Thomthing thpethial... juth for me!!!!!!!!"
--Winthrop, 'The Music Man' --Wells Fargo Wagon

Some School... then LOTS of Orchestra

Today I had one and a half hours of orchestra, starting school off. Then I went to a little more than an hour of Biology. At 12:00 I left with the cast, crew, and orchestra for the Music Man. We went to the Performing Arts Center, where we had seven hours of rehearsal. We went through the whole thing twice.
Tomorrow's opening night.
And I am loving it.
Fun stuff!!

AGT Auditions

So... today was America's Got Talent auditions.
Directly after church my mom and I went down to the venue (the place where auditions were held). We waited until the whole group (the oldest dance class-- they did the ribbon dance) got there. Then we went in and did the paperwork that we had missed.
What really annoyed me was that I could help them with their form, but they thought they were being all smart trying to figure it all out together. And one of the dancer's moms brought their entire family, and was complaining about how inconvenient is was that she had to fill out forms for every person. Umm, it's not inconvenient, it that YOU brought your ENTIRE family.
It took an hour to get registered, because we were a huge group. Finally, I went upstairs with the dancers and their parents while my mom stayed downstairs to help the little class (Rattle Drum Dance) get registered.
On the way up, I saw this little girl, probably about seven years old, in an... ummm, intricate costume. It was basically a flashy, sparkly underwear type of deal. Way too old for her. She might as well have just had a two-piece bathing suit on.
We got upstairs to the waiting room. There were huge America's Got Talent banners on practice dance floors.
The girls started putting on make-up and doing the finishing touches on their hair.
Finally, the little class came up. They had THREE cameras on them! Apparently as soon as they walked in, a camera began following them and taking videos of everything they did.
As they were doing something for the camera, we heard a loud BOOM! and saw a chair fall over.
A guy was trying to catch it, and he looked up and said to them, "You little girls are so cute! I mean, the costumes are just GREAT! So adorable! I mean, ya'll are just SO ADORABLE you should get in just on CUTENESS!! I vote YES! I probably just broke my toe on a chair, but... Ya'll are just... so CUTE! ...yeah, I'm okay..."
Then the cameraman wanted some footage of them rehearsing in front of one of the banners on a practice dance floor, where three other kids were trying to rehearse. I was watching the kids rehearse, and, I'm sorry, but they have zero chance.
They got off the floor when the cameraman told them to, but their mom was making a big deal out of it. She was on the phone saying, "They told me they'd be on for two minutes... yeah, they on for an hour! I was like, 'Are ya'll done?'"
Ummm, excuse me, lady, but I didn't see a cameraman following YOUR kids. You want our kids off the floor? Tell the cameraman TO HIS FACE.
And guess what? Even after our kids were off the floor, her kids didn't even get back on.
There was another dance group who were... really good. They had a whole black gazebo for a prop, and they were all dressed as black swans. Their age range was probably from five to fifteen. Their dance was pretty crazy. I think there was too much going on (swinging around in the gazebo, and the such) but it was really impressive. There were kids getting onto the the gazebo and falling down, sometimes in twists and turns, and falling into the arms of girl under them, who would catch them and bring them around the gazebo. It was really good. I'm glad we're not going against them... yet. The first auditions are just to see who's talented enough. They're already notifying people who've finished auditions earlier in the school year.
Anyways, after about forty-five minutes of last preparation, we were called down the hall, into a room.
I really wasn't allowed in, according to the paperwork, but I saw one dancer's two brothers go in with no problem, so I just went in, too. No one said anything about it.
The ribbon dancers went first. It was really good-- perfect, except for some of them getting their ribbons kind of twisted.
Then the little dancers went next. They were good, too. They definately charmed the judges. There was only one part where they weren't together...
While we were going out, the judges (who I think were Irish, because of their accent and looks) told us to just wait outside "in case there was missing paperwork".
So we waited for a couple of minutes, then they called my mom back inside.
She came out, bringing the news that they wanted to see the ribbon dancers again!
We were led down another hall, where I saw Robert, our Chinese Yo-Yo teacher, headed our way. I was really excited and attacked him with a hug (not a great idea when you're holding a boom box) and asked how he did. He had a callback, like us, and he didn't mess up! He's so going to make it.
He said he had to go to an interview, so he left.
In the room we were showed to, there was a man dressed in black, with a bright blue jacket. I thought he was working there, but he had a number on, which he pointed out to me later.
Anyway, one of the little dancers said something to him, and asked what her name was. She said, "Emma..." really cautiously, and he asked, "When's your birthday?" She said, "Ummm... July 17th?" He pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket, and held it in front of her, saying, "Would it be completely crazy if the number written on here was 717? Open it." She took it and opened it-- and it had 717 written by hand.
That's why I thought he worked there-- I thought he'd already seen our paperwork and just picked hers and wrote the number down, then looked carefully to see who called her "Emma."
The dancers were then called into the room next door to audition, and only my mom was allowed to go in with them.
We waited in the room with the blue jacket man.
I asked him what he was doing, and he said, "I'm not working here, I was just playing with you guys. I auditioned--see my number?--so I don't know why I'm still here."
"No, but what's your act?"
"I'm kind of like between a magician and physic. Ever heard of physic? I'm not that, because they make their shows all scary, you know, and talking to dead relatives and all. What I do for a job is I'm a 'mentalist'. I do shows and everything in front of crowds of people. I'm just someone who plays with people's minds. I can make you think what I want you to think."
"Well... what'd you do for the judges?"
"I did some tricks. They just sat there gawking at me."
"No, but, like, what exactly did you do? Can you show me?"
"Well... okay. Here's one."
He took a dice from his shoe and rotated it in front of my eyes.
"Choose a number in your head. Don't tell me. Now what I want you to do when I walk away is to take this dice, put the number face up, and cover it with you hand."
He handed it to me. I chose the number 4, put the side with four dots up, and covered it with my hand.
"I'm done," I said.
He looked over at me and said, "No, that was too fast. But okay. You chose 4."
I was amazed.
I told him to do it again.
He rotated it in front of my eyes, like he did before, and said, "Same thing. I already know what you're going to choose, but I can't tell you, because if I do, you'll change your mind."
I chose 6, and did the same thing with it.
He said, "I don't even need to turn around to guess what you chose. I already know what you chose. You chose 6."
Just then, the dancers came back into the room. I got the mentalist's autograph, and we left.
The dancer's ribbons got a lot more tangled, and one girl even stopped to untangle herself. She was on the side, though, so I hope that the camera didn't get her. They should use the video from the first audition instead of the second.
It's amazing that we got callbacks, though. Most people just get a "Good job. Thank you." from the judges, but not us!
Pray for us! :D :D

Bowl...

My mom's screaming at a bowl...
I agree with her-- dishes are kinda hard to put up when your grandfather messes the order up.

PAC Ghost

You know how I'm playing in the musical, right?
Last night we were down at the PAC (Performing Arts Center) in the pit orchestra, when I heard this sound that made my heart jump.
Then Barbie, one of the violinists, stood up with her violin-- and her bridge in her hand. None of you play the violin, so you wouldn't know this, but the bridge is that wooden thing that holds the string up. Here's a picture--

And when this comes off, it's kind of a big deal. Cause if this comes off, there's a huge chance that the sound post will fall. The sound post is a little pole INSIDE the violin that basically brings it life. No sound post, no sound at all. That's why it's called the sound post. Go figure.
Now Barbie's violin is really expensive. She's majoring in music, so she has to have a great violin.
So her bridge was out, but, luckily, her sound post was still in. She walked it over to Mrs. Rose, our orchestra conductor, who fixed it.
Close call.
Then we were in the middle of 'Goodnight, my Someone' when I felt Zachariah accidentally hit my violin with his bow... or so I thought. I looked over to the left to see if he was okay, but all I saw was a thin white cloth fall over my violin, and Zachariah staring at me as if I'd just turned into a tree of brocolli. Then I realized that my bow wasn't working right-- it had completely broke at the tip! This is a picture of the tip-- it split in half left-to-right.

So there I was, with everyone around me playing the sound, holding a totally broken bow.
I didn't know what to do, but Zachariah did. He did what any sensible high-school boy would to when a friend broke her bow-- he started cracking up. Then the girl next to me, Anna, started laughing, too, and I decided that, hey, it was really funny, so I laughed while I pulled out my extra bow. Then I just kept on playing. When we finally finished, Zachariah, Anna, and I resumed cracking up. Everyone else looked towards us, trying to figure out what was so funny, and when they saw my bow, everyone was laughing really hard and asking me how it happened.
Then we had to get on with rehearsal, because, well... that's what we were there for. I finished off the rest of the rehearsal with my extra bow.
At the end, when the cast was on the edge of the stage, rehearsing some of the harder songs with us, I showed Jesse, a boy in my orchestra class, my bow. He completely freaked out, put his hands over his mouth, and started screaming. He pointed to me and yelled, "SHE WAS PLAYING SO HARD HER BOW BROKE!!" and before I knew it, almost all the actors were gathered on the stage above me, asking me questions and whatnot.
It felt kinda nice, to be the center of attention, to be honest.
Then I suddenly felt like it was too much attention and people would think that maybe it was on purpose, so I just finished packing up.
I was joking around and told another violinist that maybe next time it would be her… and Mrs. Rose agreed and said that there’s probably a ghost in the pit!
SO glad my mom wasn't mad...
Cause it really was funny.
Really.

I'M GETTING A MEETING WITH AN ACTING AGENCY!!!!!!!!

I was beginning to think that maybe they would maybe just have not wanted me, but I just got an email-- they still want me!!
Now I need to schedule a meeting, and I'm really hoping I can ace it!

!?!???????

Someone just knocked on our door (probably a ding-dong ditcher) and what does my mom do? Yell down to Chicken, "Is that you? Who is that?"
Okay first thing you need to know when there's someone at the door and you aren't expecting anyone is NOT to make yourself obvious, SUCH AS yelling.

Prince Rock... The End!

I've finally gotten around to writing the last part of our journey to Prince Rock. That was a while ago.
Where did I leave off? We were climbing up the side of the mountain with our hands and feet, sprinting on them the whole way, because if we stopped we would lose the very important momentum to keep us going.
Back at the top, it was hard to get everyone back together. The boys climbed down steep rocks to get to where my mom was; and then they decided that it was kinda hard to get out. Eventually, we found a way, and everyone was once again reunited!
We headed back down another side of the mountain. It was steep. Ace and I went down doing funny duck-steps, just because it was the easiest way to keep balance. My dad went backwards... which kind of worried me. Us kids got down halfway, where there were huge rocks, a lot faster than my parents. We sat down at the rock and waited for them to catch up.
When they did, we (I AM SO MAD AT MY COMPUTER RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT TO THE PART WHERE WE WERE AT THE STREAM, AND THEN SOMEHOW I ACCIDENTALLY HIT A WRONG KEY AND IT DELETED HALF THE POST... And I was about to do the Control-Z thing, but then it saved! UUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm going to have to re-write the whole thing over again!) went across to Chicken Rock, which is across from Prince Rock. Chicken Rock is shorter, but it's a lot harder to climb. Unless you walk up the path, you can't just walk up like you can on Prince Rock. The boys, Elizabeth, and I climbed up. It wasn't hard, but my jacket tied around my waist and my water bottle hanging from my belt (I normally would never do this, but I had to sacrifice my dignity for the sake of my being able to climb up) it was kind of hard to do. I think I permanently damaged my water bottle...
We spent quite a while at the top. It was nice. The weather was changing like crazy; one minute it'd be so cold with the wind blowing, and the next minute it'd be burning with direct sunlight.
Finally, when we headed back down, us 'kids' climbed back, while my dad took my mom down the path. My dad would have come with us, but my mom couldn't. She's probably physically able to do it, but if she slipped and broke her leg it would be kind of inconvenient, because she's a dance teacher.
Anyways, when the boys, Elizabeth, and I got back down, we found a stream. Ace wondered what it tasted like. It looked pretty clean, so I took the cap off my water bottle and skimmed the top of the water coming down, making sure I didn't get any of the water that could have been sitting there for a while. It was pretty good. Chicken did the same thing, but he took from the edges, where the water looked more risky. I didn't tell him, because he probably would have made a remark about it. Then my parents came, and Chicken said, "This water's really good!" and this look came across my mom's face, and she said, "You drank it? You can't drink that!" And guess what Chicken says? "Well, Annasophie did it, too!" Well, way to keep it quiet, brother!
We had a little picnic on one of the picnic tables. It was nice. Afterwards, my dad took a nap in the van while my mom convinced Elizabeth and I to take our shoes off and walk in the river. We did; it was freezing cold!! It kinda felt good when we came out, cause the air was a lot warmer than the water. Chicken and Jojoba were being chicken (haha!) and wouldn't get in. My mom said, "You guys are just like girls-- scared of things that are nothing!"
I really had to go to the bathroom, so Elizabeth and I dried our feet, put our socks on, and walked to the outdoor restroom. When we came back, we took our shoes back off and walked through the stream to a rock in the middle, where we dried our feet. After a while, we put them back on, and I tried jumping across the stream (which wasn't all that wide). I missed by a little, and got my sock wet. I couldn't really feel it all that much, for some reason.
Elizabeth was smart and went the way I was going to, which was just off the rock into grass.
Then we went back in the car to...
Somewhere... I'll post about that later.

Santa...??

My grandfather just walked by and put a Santa hat on my head... Ummm...

Lovely Shakespeare, Huh?

Shakespearean insults are so amusing...
"Thou tottering motley-minded whey-face!"
"Thou beslubbering tardy-gaited devil-mon!"
"Thou cullionly rough-hewn hedge-pig!"
Ahh... Shakespeare.

Stalkers

My 'stalker' in English class isn't being creepy anymore.
Poor Willa, though... her stalker was chasing her after class. *gulp*
Oh, and, speaking of English class, we're reading 'Romeo and Juliet', and my teacher said, "I've always wished I had a real couple in the class, so they could do the kissing scene... Hey, Vanessa, can you bring your boyfriend to class?"
Ohhhhhhhh... let's hope not.

Looooooong Rehearsals...

The total of today's orcehstra rehearsal is... *drumroll, please...*
Four and a half hours.
Three different orchestras.
Kinda.
Two for school, one not for school.

Creeeepy...

I was practicing violin just now downstairs... by myself... except for my grandfather, who was in his room, sleeping... and it was a slow, kind of eerie song... and, suddenly, a book fell out of the bookshelf next to me.
No one was around.
Not even my cat.
No one could have moved it.

Needless to say, I packed my case and RAN upstairs to practice.

HomeWEERK!

...Doing homeweerk right now...
Then people will be coming over for dinner...
I might post a little bit more, depending on how much I posted yesterday. I think I posted quite a bit yesterday, so I probably won't have much more to say today.
I still need to finish the Prince Rock one... remind me to do that.

Haha! ...wisdom teeth...

These kid's doctors gave them too much drugs for when they got their wisdom teeth pulled... there's a longer video, but this has the three best parts.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_VXQd4AzPg

'Marry You'-- R5 (Bruno Mars song)

(This one's for you-know-who!!)

So I haven't done one of these critiques for songs lately, so I'll do one now.
It's 'Marry You', which Bruno Mars usually sings, but this one I'm talking about is sung by R5.
They're a band, and all of them except for one are siblings.
Here's a picture of each of them--
Riker

Rocky

Rydel

Ross

And Ratliff (who's not related to them, but he's in the band)

Okay. I think that in this song, Ross, the one who sings first, kinda sounds/acts like a girl. Don't get me wrong-- Ross is nothing like a girl at all, but this video kinda...
And I just have to say that Riker, the one who sings second, is really good. Especially between 0:25 and 0:55... Pretty impressive.
And my favorite part-- between 0:57 and 1:02 when Ross sings, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeaah..." Kinda looks like a girl right there... XD It's okay, though.

So I would give this song a... nine out of ten?

Again, yeah, you can't click on the link, but here's the URL:

Mitsukuni/Manga's House

After I came back, I went to Mitsukuni's house (I think her name was Mitsukuni...) I'll just call her Manga. She loves Manga.
Anyway, I went to Manga's house. We did a lot of acting. At one point we were doing a National Treasure-type deal, where we raced outside and started digging through the leaves to find something.
All while Avalon, her little sister, and Avalon's two friends (who, coincidentally, are named G) were playing outside.
We completely ignored them (hey, you can't let anything distrupt acting, right?) and when we were searching the ground one asked, "What are you looking for? A lollipop?" I would've laughed, but I had to pretend I didn't hear them. I kinda felt bad when one of the Gs went up in my face and started screaming, "ANNASOPHIE!! What are you LOOKING for?? ANNASOPHIE!?" I managed to keep a straight face, though, and pretend I was seeing Manga, who was standing behind her.
Inside, we did this whole orphans-hiding-from-mean-orphanage lady (kinda a play on 'Annie') and somewhere in it (we were orphan sisters, you know-- living in the same room with only one bed) we were hiding under the covers, and suddenly I popped out of my acting state of mind and realized how weird and awkward it would have looked if someone came in...
But eventually we finished that one (it actually had a distinct end! Cool!)
So... yeah. It was fun. I got stuck in the swings outside... That was not fun.

Headshots (Again!)

I took more headshots today just cause I could.
We were around my church, and I asked my dad if he had his camera (he always does) so we just went in and I took a bunch of headshots.
It was fun.

Yeah... Dance.

I didn't bring my tights to dance today... so I had to borrow someone else's yoga pants... Which aren't exactly for dance. But it was okay. Except for the fact that wearing old, worn-out dance shoes isn't exactly comfortable.

Romeo and Juliet

We're reading Romeo and Juliet in English class, and the teacher has our desks situated in pairs. There are two sides facing each other-- representing the Montague and Capulet families. I was assigned to the Capulet sign, and this kid named Ron sits next to me.
First thing you should know-- Ron's the kid who wore the Hello Kitty shirt. In case some of you either forgot or didn't see the post, here's a picture of the shirt--

Yeah. Not normal. Funny, but just not normal.
So when I was sitting down he kinda gave me a funny look... I still don't know what that meant...
Anyways, APPARENTLY because our desks were together, we were supposed to be ummm... "pairs", as the teacher put it. Like... husband and wife. Great. So Ron turns to me, smiles, and says, "Partner."
He's so... CREEPY AND WEIRD!!!!!!!
I tried to stay away from him the rest of the class (kinda hard, considering the fact that he sits next to me) and when I was walking back from lunch, I pushed the door open for the person behind me (kinda what you're just supposed to do) and there were a bunch of Hispanic guys who I was really trying to ignore. They're just the kind of people who you'd think would, like, beat each other up for fun. So then I think someone said, "THANK YOU!" really loudly or something, I don't know, cause I wasn't listening, and this guy said, "He likes you! Want to go out with him?" to which I said, "NO!" and continued up the stairs. Then someone said, "Hi, Annasophie." I turned around, and-- great. Ron. Now that I think about it, I don't know if the person was talking about Ron or someone else, who I thought they were talking about.
Either way, I really hope he wasn't talking about Ron... I hope Ron does NOT like me... I bet that's the case, though, cause he either says 'Hi' or smiles every time he sees me...
At least I'm not alone in this creepy-weirdo-who-possibly-likes-me-thing, cause my friend Willa has someone who does that, too... Who waits for her and walks her to her classes... but she doesn't even really know him...
I wish the creepy boys would GO AWAY and STOP STALKING US.

Track

Because I did end up getting my physical done yesterday, I did track today. It wasn't all that tiring until the end... accelerating sprints... And afterwards I was tired and dizzy...
But that's just track for you.

Polls are Up!

So... as you may have noticed, I have two new polls up. One you probably saw-- it's above the posts. The other one is to the right.
Please take them, because it will help me see how I'm keeping on top of things.

For some reason, on the poll that's at the top, there's no title... So the question is supposed to be "How many times do I have a new post up (according to how many times you check)?"

'Dos' and 'Don'ts' of Writing Fan Mail

While writing fanmail--
DO--
Make a 'bookmark'. What I did was I said really random stuff and drew colorful pictures and wrote random, colorful sentences around the letter. It could be something like a cool-colored envelope or a picture of your cat-- anything that when, or if, you meet this person you can say, "Yeah, I'm the person that --whatever you did special--" and they would say, "Oh, yeah! Then I know who you are!". It's something that keeps a tab in their mind and sets yours apart from others.
If you are sending a picture of them for them to sign, make sure there's something behind the picture (not attatched) that keeps it straight and not flat. Also make sure you have enough postal stamps if you're mailing a larger envelope.
Mention them writing back. "It would be really cool if you could sign this and send it back!" works better than "Sign this and give it back, please!" because the first one implies that they have more power, while the second implies that you have the power. They like power and the thought of doing something nice for a fan.
Include your name somewhere in there. If they are going to personalize a signature for you, they need your name.
Send a picture of them for them to sign. That's your best shot of getting something back.

DON'T--
Say "It's so cool that you're on TV!" This just makes the point that you're not famous and you really have nothing to do with them besides the fact that you're just an admiring fan. Instead, say, "You're so talented!" to compliment them on their screen-time accomplishments.
Just say, "I watch you every day and think you're amazing! Everyone I know loves you! I hope I can meet you some day!" etc. That's too... normal. Do you want your letter to be 'just one of the others'? No! Don't make it like the others! Make it stick out!
Use the stickers with your parent's name on it for the return address. Instead, write your name and then your address. They most likely refer to that part to personalize a signature or a letter, and you definately don't want your favorite star to accidentally write a letter to your parents!
Write a letter saying, "I mailed you three months ago, but you didn't respond. Please repond!" It usually takes many, many months for them to respond (if they even do). Your best shot at hearing back from them is if you mail a picture of them. Then they pretty much have to sign it and give it back.

So go and find your favorite star's fanmail address. Use these tips and write an amazing fanmail letter that will definately make it's way to the top of the 'favorites' pile!

KIWI??

Skandie turned me into a kiwi.
Hmmmm...

PHYSICAL!!

I went online and found a place where I could get my sports physical done without appointment.
The place was really fancy, but it kinda took a long time because there were only a couple of doctors...
But yay! Now I can do Track tomorrow!!

PHYSICAAAAAL!!!!!

I NEED MY SPORTS PHYSICAL DONE!!!!!!!!
I defininately need it done by Monday, but if I don't have it by tomorrow, I can't do anything in Track, and it'll give a bad impression to my coach...
:(

Neopets Quiz

For those who used to (or still do) play on Neopets-- you know how you could make quizzes? And, Jestar, remember that Celtic Woman one I made? SOOOOOOO HARD!!!!!!!!
I tried it again, and it's. SO. HARD. It took me FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I know Celtic Woman front and back!

How Did This Happen?

My African-American teacher has two half-Asian kids.
HOW?

Oh, yeah-- and he offered to adopt me. Ummmmm...

*runs away, laughing*

Track and Practice, but not Track Practice

Today was the beginning of a new semester... which means that some people have classes switched around.
That includes me, because now I have Track instead of Speech.
But as soon as I walked into my English today, thinking it would all the them same... but something was waaaaay different. Last semester, my English class only had about twenty kids. Now it's more of, like... thirty. It's NOT FUN ANYMORE. Crowded classrooms= too many obnoxious people. One obnoxious kid for every class can be funny, but more than three? No way.
The rest of the classes were the same... up until track. I got to the right building and was totally lost, so I asked a girl if she was in track. She led me to the locker room, where I found a couple of people I knew. All we really did sit there, because not everyone had their clothes, and we all had to get our physicals from our doctors filled out... something I did not get done, because I didn't know.
After school was Music Man practice. Meh. It was average. (Hahaha...)

I NEED TIIIIIIIME!!!!!!

I didn't get to go on the computer yesterday.
Why?
Chicken.
I waited FOUR AND A HALF HOURS today to get on. And I'm going to have to do this quick.
Why?
Chicken.
The genius played Minecraft for the whole two weeks of winter break, and now he's scrambling to get a major project done.
Which means that I can't get on the computer.
And I haven't been able to get on for more than ONLY FIFTEEN MINUTES for the past two weeks, cause once I get on, someone always gets me to get off, then stays on forever and pretends that they're doing work when whey're really not.
*ahemCHICKENahem*
