Random Picture of the Day (subject chosen by Ch1k3n)

The Second Day of Moving

So today I went back to help Plard with his room. I took Hale along.
Once we got there, we found no one but three sixth graders. We set up stands with them and moved them to wherever Plard told us to put them. By the way, the science labs are pretty cool.
Then Scar's mom brought pizza and Scar, and the sixth graders left. Tiff and Rice came, so it was Hale, Tiff, Rice, Scar, me, Plard, and Mrs. Basket.
Hale and I played around with the practice rooms. Then we carried a ton of stuff down to the garbage bins. Mrs. Basket threw away a ton of stuff! Even family pictures, cups that her Encore members from past years made for her, perfectly good picture frames and the old choir dresses. I mean, at least bring that stuff to Goodwill or something!! It felt kinda bad throwing dress after dress into the garbage.
Mrs. Basket also had Hale, Tiff, and I bring stuff to all of the buildings. When we got back, we walked across the grass that the same man from the next post was working around, and then when we were mostly across, he said, "Girls, why did you have to walk across here? Just walk on the road up to the sidewalk!" Again, thanks for telling us WHILE we were walking across. Make us feel bad.
Tiff left after that, so it was just Hale, Scar, and me. We helped Plard put up the railing for the new choir risers. Well... Scar and him did the drilling and such. Hale and I just held pieces together and cleaned up the mess they made.
Mrs. Basket had me crawl under her desk and plug in a fan cause she couldn't get in there herself.
Then it started to rain, and Hale went out to dance in it, so I hid in a practice room. I saw her come in, look around, then get a smart look on her face, and pull out her phone. I saw this all, so I took out my phone, prepared to get a call. So when I did, I just pushed 'Reject.' This went on about five times, until I got a call from my mom. Yes, I accidentally rejected her call.
But that was okay, cause we went out to the van immediately after.
I'm still wondering how Mrs. Basket unplugged the fan.

First Day of Setting Up

Yesterday.
Woods of Brent.
SAM, I SAW FROGFACE!!!!!!!!! AND HE DIDN'T FINISH WHAT HE WAS DOING, SO I HAD TO FINISH IT FOR HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway.
Yesterday, I went to help out with the new building. The auditorium is really cool, but has very few seats.
The band room is pretty big. It's okay. And it connects to the choir room.
So I get there, find Plard's office, and there are Rice and TrumpetMan, taking apart the ENTIRE sound system board. You know, one of those things with hundreds of colorful knobs? Yeah. Totally ripped apart, even all the technical things like the wires inside.
Then Plard left to pick up Frogface, so Tiff, DaniReed, Rice, and I decided to go snoop around and 'get a drink,' and we ended up in the auditorium. I checked out the orchestra pit (amazing) and stood on the side of the stage. Then DaniReed and Tiff disappeared, so it was just the two of us left. Rice was at the back, where the entrance doors are, and I was at the front.
Then I hear this voice. "Not on the stage, please." And this old guy comes up and was like, "You can't be on the stage. This is still working zone."
And what does Rice do? He runs. Just runs off and leaves me.
So I was like, "Oh, I'm really sorry, I didn't know..." then I look around and realize I have absolutely no idea where I am. (He kinda scared me into a little room with, like, three doors. "Where's the band hall?"
He point to the door behind me. It's locked.
"Is it locked? I'll unlock it for you. But you're not allowed to be in here."
Well, THANKS for telling me that before. If I'd had known, I would've been in there in the first place! It's called a sign. Not that hard. "Work Zone. Please do not enter."

Hello? *echoes*

It wouldn't even matter if I didn't post in weeks, cause no one's reading this, anyway...

Massage Chairs and Comforter... DUCK!!!!

Last night I slept on our massage chair, which, at the moment, is being used to hold a stack of comforters three feet tall. So... I slept on that huge pile last night... and slept very well.
And how did I get woken up? By my mom, taking a picture of me.

Confusion?

I called Nikki's phone and ended up talking to Mrs. Heart.
Hmmmm...

Tavi

I have a nickname for my cat. The nickname is Tavi, short for Rikki Tikki Tavi.
Let me explain.
By the time I was in fifth grade, she had undergone many nicknames, such as Hudge (??), Sausage, and then she landed 'Rikki,' which I kept.
So when we read Rikki Tikki Tavi in seventh grade, she earned her latest nickname-- "Tavi."
Today I decided to Google "Tavi."
And what did it come up with?
This teenage fashion designer, Tavi Gevensen. I don't know what to think of this.

Birthday Present for Jestar

Jestar, I just sent you your birthday present.
GO CHECK YOUR EMAIL!!!!!!
Enjoy! :)

TRUMANISMS!!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHA I find this hysterical.
www.trumanisms.com
I know this guy...

'LoudNClear Trudog'-- TobyMac's son, Trudog

Ummmmmm...
THIS IS ANNOYING.
But I will still continue listening.
There's a little kid rapping... I'm guessing it's TobyMac's kid. Trudog?
Ummm what???
Trudog- "And, oops! You're diaper's wet again."
Little kid- "I don't wear diapers. I wear pullups."
Trudog- *laughs*
Little kid- "I'm telling!" *foosteps running away* "DADDY!!!!!"
*more rapping*
TobyMac, I'm guessing?- "Truett." *something I didn't catch*
Trudog- "But he's the one that wanted to have a freestyle battle."
TobyMac- "Truett. He's three years old."
I don't think this is a real song.
If it was... three and a half out of ten.

'Hold On'-- TobyMac

Sounds a little bit techno...
I like the chorus. It sounds like a mix between techno and something you would listen to on a sunshiney day.
I like it.
Nine and a half out of ten.

'Hold Me'-- Jamie Grace, featuring TobyMac

I like the beginning. Kinda a tropical sound, with the ukulele. It's really catchy.
I like this. It has a little swing to it, and good rhythmn.
I'd give it a nine point eight out of ten.

Made to Love-- TobyMac

This song is probably an seven out of ten.
It has a trumpet thing in the back that makes it sounds a little like a carnival song.
The key is a little bit major, which makes it a little quirky.
And the random part in the middle with a violin and background singers going, "Na na na na na..." is a little... sudden and wierd.
And his voice is a little scratchy in this song.

Songs

Right now I'm listening to a lot of Christian songs and critiqing them.

Shine

'Shine' by the Newsboys is catchy... at the chorus, but it can get really annoying.
Their voices are strange cause they're Australian.
But it has cool effects.

Poisonous Stems

Cherry stems ARE slightly poisonous... this is not good...

Cherry Stems

Cherry stems don't taste good. Are they poisonous? Cause I just chewed one, and my stomach's not feeling too good about it...

It was pretty fun.

Get Back Up Lyrics

You turned away when I looked you in the eye,
And hesitated when I asked if you were alright,
Seems like you're fighting for you life,
But why? oh why?
Wide awake in the middle of your nightmare,
You saw it comin' but it hit you outta no where,
And theres always scars
When you fall back far

We lose our way,
We get back up again
It's never too late to get back up again,
One day you will shine again,
You may be knocked down,
But not out forever,
Lose our way,
We get back up again,
So get up, get up,
You gonna shine again,
Never too late to get back up again,
You may be knocked down,
But not out forever
[May be knocked down but not out forever]

You're rolled out at the dawning of the day
Heart racin' as you made you little get away,
It feels like you've been runnin' all your life
But, why? Oh why?

So you've pulled away from the love that wou'd've been there,
You start believin' that your situation's unfair

But there's always scars,
When you fall back far

We lose our way,
We get back up again
Never too late to get back up again,
One day, you gonna shine again,
You may be knocked down but not out forever,
Lose our way, we get back up again,
So get up, get up

[ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/get-back-up-lyrics-toby-mac.html ]

You gonna shine again
It's never too late, to get back up again
You may be knocked down, but not out forever,
May be knocked down, but not out forever!

This is love callin', love callin', out to the broken,
This is love callin'.
This is love callin', love callin', out to the broken
This is love callin'.
This is love callin', love callin',
I am so broken
This is love callin' love callin

Lose our way,
We get back up, [get back up again]
It's never too late
You may be knocked down but not out forever!

Lose our way,
We get back up again,
So get up get up
You gonna shine again
Never too late to get back up again
You may be knocked down,
But not out forever,

This is love [lose our way] callin' love callin' [get back up again]
To the broken
This is love [never too late] callin'
[may be knocked down but not out forever]
This is love [lose our way] callin' love callin' [we get back up again]

Get Back Up!! TobyMac

Listening to 'Get Back Up' by Tobymac.
Haven't heard ever since the end of seventh grade.
And I loved.
AND I LOVE IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
WHOA............ I FORGOT HOW AMAZING THIS IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lose our way, we get back up again....
Okay, I'm posting the lyrics.

:()

Hi Sam.

Testify to LOVE

I can now sing to 'Testify to Love.'
In my head.
Cause I don't sing out loud unless I'm alone.
Now I'm whispering the rap part of it. The bridge.
I LOVE THIS GUY'S VOICE!! Who is it?????

Have you Ever?

Have you ever written a letter to yourself for the future?

Ummmmm... TV??

I was writing the next post when the TV said my name.
I'm scared.

I LIKE this Song!

This is the Llama Song. If you have not yet heard it yet, you have not yet experienced the full awesomeness of llamas. (I have a special bond with llamas. Whenever I type my name into Google Images, pictures of llamas show up.)

Here's a llama
there's a llama
and another little llama
fuzzy llama
funny llama
llama llama
duck.

Llama llama
cheesecake
llama
tablet
brick
potato
llama
llama llama
mushroom
llama
llama llama
duck.

I was once a treehouse
I lived in a cake
but I never saw the way
the orange slayed the rake
I was only three years dead
but it told a tale
and now listen, little child
to the safety rail

Did you ever see a llama
kiss a llama
on the llama
llama's llama
tastes of llama
llama llama
duck.

Half a llama
twice the llama
not a llama
farmer
llama
llama in a car
alarm a llama
llama
duck.

Is THIS how it's told now?
Is it all so old?
Is it made of lemon juice?
doorknob
ankle
cold?
Now my song is getting thin
I've run out of luck
time for me to retire now
and become a duck.

Bit by a Squirrel!

Today my family went to The Gabe Park for a picnic.
We stopped to pick up fried chicken (standard picnic food), and since it was still early, the chicken was still frying. So they gave us free cups for the wait, and my mom, Ch1k3n, and I went across the street to an antique shop.
It had a bunch of stuff like old mirrors, old clock faces, doll body parts, typewriters, old hats, pretty much everything you could think of. I think it's one of those places where movie producers go and get old-looking props. You could find anything there. Skandie, I think you would've liked it. I found a cup full of keys, and I found something somewhat close to a skeleton key. It was a more modern kind, though, and for some reason, it had a "Y" button glued to it. So I didn't get it. Then I found a bowl full of old watch faces. There was a small one with silver numbers, and tiny, thin metallic blue hands. It was beautiful, and it had a lot of intricate gears on the back. Then there was one that was just pretty much a circle of gears, with nothing much on the back. That was really cool, too. I wanted one, but they were from Europe, so they were expensive.
Then we went back, got our chicken, and drove on to The Gabe Park. Then I remembered us visiting it last year. It looked really familiar. Then there was someone setting up for a birthday party, and my mom said, "Why would anyone have a birthday party here?" but I guess she kinda forgot that she had MY first birthday party here. Then, when I asked her why she chose this place for my party, she got mad.
Ch1k3n and her wanted a table away fromt he sun, so we finally settled on this Sharpie-graffitied table under a tree.
Then I realized that this park was also where I had two cross-country meets! That's where I knew it from. So it was kinda cool visiting the park again, and not having to run a two-mile race. (Jestar-- this park was the one that was freezing cold, and Orick kept bugging you to give me your jacket.)
When we finished our lunch, Ch1k3n and I went down to explore the river. Except it wasn't really a river. It was very dried up. Like, REALLY dried up. COMPLETELY dried up. So it was the grass, you know, up until this one point where the water used to begin, then it was just a cliff that sprung down six feet. So Ch1k3n and I jumped down and walked until we got to the edge of what water there was left. Then we turned back around, climbed up the cliff, and ran back to the picnic table.
Then Ch1k3n sat down to rest, and my mom and I went to where the spring used to be. There was water across from it, so we fed ducks bread. Eventually, my dad and Ch1k3n came, too, so my dad took pictures while the three of us fed ducks by hand.
After we had fed them more than half a loaf of bread, we went back up to the other side to feed ducks there.
The first thing we saw was a little squirrel running down a tree. So I tossed a piece of bread to it, and it devoured it. It kept eating bread it tossed it, and eventually, it just ran up to me. I held out a piece of bread on my hand, and it came all the way up, brushed his little squirrel cheek against my thumb, tickled my finger with his whiskers, and snatched the bread away. Then, while he was busy eating, I got a bigger piece. This one he came up, took it away, and slowly worked on eating it all. It was so cute- he picked it up with both hands and nibbled on it, just like in pictures! Then he came back for more, so I held another piece out. He came right up to me again, sniffed me, rubbed his face on my hand, and then BIT me! Then he took the bread and ate it. This repeated (without the biting, thankfully,) until my piece of bread was gone. Yeah, I hand-fed a squirrel! My dreams have come true! Kinda. Almost. Just a little closer!

Ewwwwwww

My toothpaste is supposed to taste like Bubble Mint.
It tastes like bread.
Needless to say, I'm probably not ever using that stuff again.
Time to get a new toothpaste. (Although that toothpaste WAS new.)

'The Tuxedo'

I just watched 'The Tuxedo' with my family.
It's really funny... You know, Jackie Chan movies...
So it's called 'The Tuxedo' cause he has this secret agent tuxedo that can make him do everything, even, like, dance and climb on the ceiling.

I Do Not Like This Song

I do not like this one song.
I don't know what's it's called, although I think I know.
I'm pretty sure it's 'ET' by Katy Perry?
That song really annoys me, and it's... pretty much a disgusting song. Very disturbing.
And for your (and my own) safety, I didn't post the lyrics. Cause I don't know what they are, and I don't ever EVER want to know.

Answering Sammie's questions--
1) Probably won't put pictures up, cause half of the costume pieces are still across the world and will be brought back by other parents.
2) Noise makers... Like beach balls that are... straws... cylinders... and you beat them together to make noise.
3) Yes, he would very much love a one-armed Spongebob.

Memory

Random memory from a couple of years ago-
Once I was watching TV in a bedroom downstairs, then Ch1k3n wanted to stay near me (we were the only ones at home) but also wanted to be on the computer. So he completely unhooks the upstairs computer and brings the entire thing, monitor, keyboard, and all downstairs.

Smoke!!

Today I almost burned... well, scratch that, I DID burn something.
Okay, so I was making dinner (last day that I have to do that) and there was something on the bottom of the pan. So the fire's right there, burning it all out. When I finally realize that the fire's not turning yellow for no reason, and there's smoke rolling up off the edge of the pan, it's kinda... late.
I turn the stove off immediately, and then what do I do?
Run outside to hide from the smoke alarms.
Then Ch1k3n starts yelling at me, saying that it's not helping that I'm not opening windows with him. So we opened pretty much every window downstairs, and the smoke alarms didn't go off. Mission accomplished!

Mew.

SafeEyes, the annoying software on my computer, blocks pages where there's inappropriate content, etc.
I asked Ch1k3n for Circle Stone's band director's email address, so Ch1k3n sent me the link to the Circle Stone Band website. The calendar was blocked because apparently it consisted of nudity.

For Sammie!!

Sam, please, post all your thoughts on Harry Potter. I want to hear them. :)

Back!

I am back now... Yep.

Church

Today Rayne, Jojoba, and I played music for their church. Basically, it's where Rayne is on the piano, Jojoba and I on the violin, everyone else singing. And they kept the room SOOOO cold! My fingers practically froze up!
Their church is soooooooo long! And, yes, I'm complaining again. The service is one and a half hours, and the sermon itself is an hour long. And the songs? No one knows them. So it's a guy up there with his guitar, singing awkwardly.
By the way, I'm going back home today.

Harry Potter

Rayne went with Tongue and Kenster to watch 'Harry Potter ---whatever it's called--- Part 2.' So... yep. Why am I not there? Cause I'm not allowed to watch/read Harry Potter. And I wouldn't let myself, anyway. People think that J. K. Rowling made it all up. Nope. Harry Potter may be fiction, but it's definitely not a fantasy.
There. Are. Witches. Out. There. In. The. World.
And Harry Potter just teaches kids that witchcraft is okay. Just cause Harry Potter does it. They don't realize that they're playing with fire... and can get sucked into it. It's dangerous... and no one's been warned.
So, basically, our society, even the Christian society, is letting kids just fall into thinking that it's okay. Fine. Okay, if you want to. Just don't blame me when we start losing teenagers to witchcraft.
After all, if Harry Potter did it, it's fine, right? Yeah, cause he's just the greatest person in literature history.

Last Day!! :(

Today was the last day of decorating. *awwwwwwwww!*
But it went well. A lot of people really like the room Elizabeth and I set up. But today was pretty much just a wrap up day, so we weren't doing anything else.
Except Elizabeth, Zen Warrior, Tongue, and I had epic battles 'sword fighting' with swim noodles.
Then I went back into our cave room and lay on the table with my gold marker and a black piece of paper, and let my mind just flow out. So I ended up drawing my typical earth/eclipse thing that I... mostly always draw. It's just how I always think. Then Kenster came in and asked if I drew it, and I said, "No, Kenster. It just randomly appeared out of nowhere." Then Tongue walked it, saw it, then said, "Whoa. Wait... Annasophie, did you draw this?" and Kenster said, "No, she didn't. It just appeared out of nowhere, she said." And I say, "Yeah, I drew it," and Tongue went, "That's actually really good..."
And then Kenster made me "draw another one," so I started it, then he got all upset and complained, "ANOTHER one of the SAME KIND??" So I just drew a stick figure and labeled it "Kenster."
Then, when I was alone again, I drew another gold on black piece, except it was a palm tree.
Then we went to the auditorium to set up chairs for church tomorrow. After that, we just kinda sat in the lobby area and... Elizabeth did my hair and took pictures of it... Kenster was annoying us... And Tongue wrapped an entire balloon with masking tape, then pushed a thumbtack into it and let it deflate.
We left, and Rayne, Elizabeth, and I got snow cones. They were good.
So, yep, there goes the last day of VBS decorating. :( Really sad... It was fun. I'll never forget you, VBS decorating!

Scrapbook Time!!

Elizabeth and I started our scrapbook today. We're going to make it into a tradition- a few pages for each summer. We filled seven pages today-
One of the beginning, one for when we made fudge, one for when we picked cotton out in a random field, one for the long hours we spent decorating for VBS, one at the back for the best pictures, and two more for random pics we liked. There's this one picture where I literally look like a minion, no joke. But the scrapbooks turned out really well. Maybe if you guys come to my house sometime, I'll show it to you.

Potluck...

Today, for some reason, there was a potluck at Elizabeth's church.
There was this lady that was taking a video with her iPhone, but I think she thought it was a camera. She would get with someone and they'd pose in front of it, then she would turn it back around. She did this for at least fifteen minutes.
Then we had to sit down for some 'presentation' to welcome their new pastor. One problem- they were speaking in Chinese, and the new pastor speaks English. Yep, way to make someone feel welcome.
Then Kenster kept poking me in the back with my shoe. It's so annoying...

Decorating COMPLETED!!

Today Elizabeth and I finished decorating her room. We just put aluminum foil stars up on the black wall with the raccoon.
Then we put up a desk light at an angle so the stars reflect light.
And it looks amazing when you turn the big lights off and the desk light on.

3D Glasses

Elizabeth and I popped out the lenses of 3D glasses and put black nail polish over the label thing, and they're really fun to wear. You never know how people are going to stare back at you.

Never Say Never (oh, whoops, I just said it!)

Don't kill me.
Okay?
Okay.
But...
I watched 'Never Say Never' with my cousins.
And it really wasn't all that bad.
He was adorable when he was little, but then that somehow kinda vanished into thin air...
Other people think otherwise.
And I still don't really like his music.
But the movie was actually pretty amusing.
It showed that he's still like a little 5-year-old.
I mean, you got to see him shovel snow (here's the link, it's really cute! I can't believe I'm saying that about him, but you have to see it to know what I'm talking about. Besides, he's like, three. So it's okay. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6aOHx0Lx3U&feature=related ), and you get to see him eat a doughnut out of the trash can ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsJU4ai2abs ), attempt to shave his head, you see him actually shaving his face (?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!??????), singing to himself in the bathroom, brushing his teeth, get practically yelled at for... well, yelling... get really sick before a big performance, and...
The worst parts were all the girls screaming and CRYING over him.
"I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!" *bawls*
"You can't marry him. I'm his wife."
"Justin Beiber, you better not have any more girlfriends, cause I'm your girlfriend."
Then more quotations from the movie-
"JUSTIN! STOP! STOP! THAT'S NOT FUNNY!" ... "Yeah, it is!" (being a five year old at age fifteen.)
"I want McDonalds." "You have to practice first." "Chicken Nuggets?"
"All right, I'm about to change my pants, so you'll have to leave."
"I'm a sixteen year old boy. I always have energy."
So... yep. It's really not that bad a movie, just on the long side with songs. Not too many songs, though. It really wasn't that bad. Just wouldn't pay to see it.

STOP!

What annoys me most right now?
Rayne's constant loud burping.
It's like Sam, but... worse.
I mean, she doesn't even say 'excuse me'...
...sigh...

ANOTHER Day!

Another day of decorating. Which isn't a bad thing. A good thing.
I was helping Elizabeth with her room. She'll get a teacher helper, but the teacher's at work all the time, so he told her to improvise.
He came up with the idea of a cave, so that's what we did.
The doorway has blue and black streamers so they have to walk through them.
Yesterday we did a river, in which Elizabeth drew a whale. And Tongue came in and decided to make the river better, so he drew another whale. Which Elizabeth completed with a death face. Then Tongue came back at the original whale and drew a killer whale eating Elizabeth's. And today they made more changes. Now the original whale (who we named Dorcas) is dead, and the killer whale has funny teeth and messed up eyes. All the doings of Elizabeth and Tongue. *applause*
Then Elaine came in and insisted we make stalactites on the black wall. So we did. And then Tongue just HAD to comment that they didn't look like it.
Then we took twenty minutes handing out flyers for the VBS. It was so hot outside!
We got more black tablecloths for the other wall, so we covered that in black. So we put a painted cardboard raccoon, and we're going to make alu/0minum (that was Elizabeth, the /0 in 'aluminum') foil stars. And it's going to be pretty. We'll put in a desk light so that we don't have to use the big light, so everything will be all pretty. With the stars and the silver/gold sharpie, it'll be nice and glimmery, and very cave-ish.
Rayne wants me to get off the computer right now, so... bye.

!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't get over how amazing this is!!
I haven't seen my cousin in a year, and this is, like... amazing!!
I don't even care that I'm going to have a hard time waking up tomorrow, cause I'm probably going to write until... early... anyway.

My Cousin!

I'm chatting with my other cousin (the one I see every two or three years), and last I heard of him was last summer. So yep. I'm chatting with him on Rayne's Facebook account.
He had a picture with a snow unicorn, and a picture of him that said, "I wonder if the dinosaurs came back, would everyone be nicer?"
I am officially proud to call him my cousin!

WHERE??????

Where IS??? everyone??????

Advertising Time!!

Today was another day of decorating.
The first thing Elizabeth and I did was re-paint a poster, because it was really badly painted before.
So then Tongue comes along and asks, "You painting over it?"
And I say, "Yeah, look at this," and point to this really bad spot.
Then he just kinda looks at me and says, "Um, actually, I did that part."
"What? No, you didn't."
"Yeah, actually I did."
"Oh... sorry."
I helped Elizabeth and Rayne decorate their rooms.
Then I walked out of the room, and when I came back, Tongue was trying to convince Elizabeth that guys don't look funny. (I don't think she ever changed her mind.)
And THEN Tongue somehow got me to say that I liked someone, and then he kept asking questions and it drove me CRAZY.
Then Elizabeth and I made gold nuggets (the theme is "Gold Rush") for her room, and I was walking back with them on plates, so Ken and Tongue saw them and were literally about to eat them cause they thought they were cookies.
Yes, paint on cardboard definitely looks like cookies.
Then Elizabeth and Ace had to go to tennis class again, so Ken, Jojoba, Tongue, and I went all around the town and posted up advertisements for VBS. It was fun, and it took more than an hour.
At one point, since Tongue directed us to every nail salon, I asked, "Tongue, how do you know where every nail salon is?" and Jojoba and Ken laughed like crazy. I didn't think it was too funny, but apparently it was.
Then we got back to the church a long time later, and Rayne was still decorating her room.
Overall, it was a really good day.

Just Dance 2!!

'Just Dance 2' is really fun. On the Wii. I didn't think it would be that fun, but Elizabeth just got it yesterday.
There were people over for dinner last night, and they started playing it...
Let me tell you, the most disturbing video I have on my phone now is a fifty-year-old lady dancing to 'Fireworks.'

Yet Another Day!!

And yet another day of "Homecoming decorating."
Today's work for me only involved painting-- but it was a LOT of painting. Painting saguaros, trees, grass... mostly green, and the black outlines around it.
Again, I stayed two hours after everyone else. But this time, it was Elizabeth, Zen Warrior, Howey, and me left over. At one point, Dust, the youth minister, brought Zen Warrior and Howey to pick up cardboard, so Elizabeth and I played badminton, filled up on pretzels, and basically just hung out "backstage" (behind the huge set they made that's on the stage in the sanctuary.)

Twinkie and Laptops

Elizabeth's dog, Twinkie, BIT Rayne's (older cousin) laptop screen.
How.
HOW??

VBS

Today I helped with Elizabeth's church's VBS setting up. The theme was Gold Rush, and they have all these awesome mining... things... that they made out of cardboard.
One of the first things that (my uncle just asked me who I'm talking on the phone to. I'm on the COMPUTER.) we did was paint a mining cart brown. Although it was already brown. But anyway. Elizabeth was being a genius (I'm not being sarcastic) so five minutes later we were smearing the whole thing with brown paint on our hands. I felt like a four-year-old again. Then we ran out of brown paint.
After that, though, we really didn't do anything much else. We played volleyball with a... not volleyball, but the youth minister's little kids wanted to play, and they didn't even KNOW it was volleyball, and didn't get the concept.
The next thing we did after that was putting up fence-design wallpaper in the halls. But it was kinda hard for us to get it up by ourselves, so we had to get someone named Tongue to help. That worked better than one of us slipping off a chair and getting hurt. But then Elizabeth had to leave for tennis lessons, so eventually it was just my cousin Jojoba, Elizabeth's friend Elaine, and me left.
So Elaine and I played a little of badminton, and then snuck "a little bit" of ice cream.
And then... we went home. After putting up more stuff on the walls.
I guess it was a little like setting up for Homecoming, but it... wasn't... Homecoming.

My Uncle... Again.

And NOW he's running around the house with a t-shirt, short boxers, and house sandals.
It was worse last night...

STOP SINGING!!

My uncle is trying to sing.
Not working out.

Meh... ??

I really don't know what to post.
Ummmm...
I'm going to go and write now.

My God is BOOM! Dynamite

This morning at church my aunt was teaching the second and third grade class, and she wanted Elizabeth and I to teach them a song.
So we decided on Father Abraham.
We got there, and there were three boys and two girls staring awkwardly at us.
"Okay, so," I start, "who's ever heard Father Abraham?"
One girl raises her hand.
"Well, then. You guys are going to learn it. So basically, you do the right hand... wait... okay, Elizabeth, let's just go for it."
So we start singing, "Father Abraham had many sons... Okay, guys, whenever you catch on you have to do this with us."
But they just stared up at us awkwardly.
"Ummm... let's try something else. This isn't really a song, it's more of a chant. 'My God is BOOM dynamite. My God is BOOM dynamite. My God is tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, BOOM dynamite.' That's how it goes. Now do it with us."
*stares*
So Elizabeth's mom tries to get them to do it with us. And she... just...
"My God is... is..."
"Boom dynamite."
"My God is BOO dymiye."
"No, 'boom dynamite'."
"BOOM dynamye."
"Uhh..."
"My God is BOO dynamye."
"Uhhh... okay..."
Yepppp... so that didn't go too well.

I am AT

I am at Elizabeth's house.
I came with a random guy that I didn't even know all that much...
And then Elizabeth and I got scrapbooks to make... scrapbooks... out of, and our tradition of decorating journals with stickers. This time we also got gold and silver metallic markers, and they worked really well.
Then we tried to make fudge... and SOMEONE put in the marshmallow cream before we turned the stove on. But it was fun, because before we heated it up, we mixed it with our hands. Yes, of course, we did wash them before we did that.
Now she's slurping a... a grass... jelly... drink? with a straw. Yummy. Go, Elizabeth, go.

Soul Surfer

Soul Surfer was a really good movie. They had really good animation... except for some parts, like when she looks in the mirror after they take the bandage out, you can see AnnaSophia Robb's arm shadow on her shirt. (Erin noticed that.)
And the lady that was crying and supposed to be speaking Thai? Yeah, that wasn't Thai.
I was really glad they didn't let the Christian part out of it.
It was a really good movie.
Go and watch it.
Unless... maybe if it's out in Redbox by the time of my birthday sleepover, then I'll probably want to watch it then.

Party

Today was Zo's birthday party. I started at Jelly Clouds, a craft place. We got to pick anything under $25 (most were things cut out of a board of wood), and I chose a canvas. Only Zo, another girl, and I got a canvas. The only bad thing was that they were square. Which isn't as good, because it's harder to divide well.
I had many ideas, like a Minion from Despicable Me, but I decided that it wouldn't look good on canvas. Then I thought of a creepy-looking tree that you would find in a cemetary silhouette with a sunset background, but I couldn't figure out how to draw a tree. Then I wanted to do abstract, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. So I decided on a palm tree silhouette with a sunset background.
I first sketched out where I wanted everything to be, then I took yellow paint and drew the horizon, kind of wavy. Then I painted yellow up to about halfway, then got orange. I made the orange kinda overlap with dry brush strokes, meaning... Meaning that it didn't BLEND blend, with more of a stroke-y touch. I did the same with the red.
The tree had almost a black base (almost a third at the bottom) with a palm tree. I was really scared I wouldn't be able to do the effect I wanted on the branches, cause the brush had to be a little bit dry, but I did it pretty well, except one of them wasn't as good as I would've liked it to have been.
But it was really good, and everyone was really surprised.
Zo did abstract. She separated her canvas into different sections, painted each a differnt color, and put tiles and feathers on the different ones. It was... okay.
The other girl did a koi fish, and it was pretty good, but... I don't know... They are a couple years younger. So I do have an advantage.
Anyway, they had cupcakes instead of a cake. Sparkly cupcakes. Okay.
Then we went to the pool. And Zo had this huge turtle that was so big it barely fit into the trunk, so we all got on it (it took about ten minutes because we kept slipping off-- the air was shitfing around and making it unbalanced) and then these guys kept swimming under and pushing us upside-down. Thing is, I'm going to be going to school with them next year.
And then forty minutes early, my dad shows up. WHAT!? Apparently I have to go home do eat. EAT. Cause I'm going with Erin and Bran's family to see a movie. So we have to eat early. And miss forty minutes of the party.
And guess what? The movie was sold out. So I missed it for nothing. Now we're at home, and we're going to see the 9:30 showing.
And tomorrow at 7:50, I'm off to violin, and directly after that, to Elizabeth's house.

New Blogger Dashboard?

No, Sam... I don't think I have the new Blogger Dashboard.

Mission Accomplished!!

Haha! I woke Bassman up!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Flying High

This is a song that A.V.A., a seven-year-old girl across the street, made up on the spot.

Have you ever looked up at the sky, saying--
Why can't I just fly up there?
I wanna see how the world is like
without me bein' there...
I just wanna be above the stars, flyin' high.
You know, there's one place where everyone's goin',
No one has to know.
I just want to fly up to the moon.
You know there's one place,
That's that one place
I wanna go.
I've never been there,
but I always wanted to do it..
There's one place...
but I don't know how to do...
One place I can,
but I can't get there-
There's one place I'll do--
and that's up at the moon
You know that's the only place
Where I ever thought I should go.
I know I have to go--
I've always wanted to go...

Really good for on-the-spot, at age 7. The melody makes it completely magical.

Tiki Tiki Chitty Tika!

CHITTICK!!!!!

Frogface!

When Hale came over yesterday, we called Frogface.
"Hello? Is this Mr. Camera?"
"Yeah..."
"May I speak to--"
"Wait... uh... wait... no, this is Frogface."
*gasp!*
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" and so on for a while...
Then I realized that if I didn't say, "Say hi to Sam for me," he probably would never have found out who that was.
Sam, you haven't ever figured out who I made you talk on the phone to at the track meet, did you?

JESTAR!?

JESTAR!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY DID YOU NOT TELL US?????????????????????????????????????????????
(No, I'm not mad. I am HAPPPPPPEEEEEEEE!!)

SNAIL!!!!!!

I don't quite know what to post...
Last night Hale came over, and Ch1k3n was telling her about Remi Gaillard, and said, "I don't think that Hale would very much like someone dressed up as a snail in the middle of the street."
Hale and I cracked up...
Cause...
No, none of you would get it...
*happy sigh*

MEEP!

Meep.
Meep.
MEEP!
Last night we went to someone's house... They had this awesome swimming pool, and a dog named Draco. He had this dog lifejacket that had a handle you could pick him up with and toss him into the pool.
What else did I do?
Oh, yeah, I made a rubber duck sink.
MUAHAHAHA!!!

Sour Cream!!

I'm dreaming of sour cream right now...
Although I don't quite know why.

Hmmmmm...??

As of right now, Erin's family is eating lunch with out preacher's family.
And in case you don't know who the preacher's family is, it's Brett's family.
I don't know what to think about this...
I was going to tell Erin that Brett was probably the most popular guy in school and that a ton of girls would die to have lunch with him, but I decided not to.
It might be best she doesn't know.

Katy Perry... WHAT??

My mom's friend gave my mom a Katy Perry concert ticket.
My mom rejected it, cause another friend was over.
Hmmm...
What??
??????!!!!!!!????

Meh...

Don't kill me, but I watched High School Musical for the first time today. (I wouldn't have, but Erin saw that it was on TV, so she wanted to watch it.)
And... it really wasn't that bad. It wasn't. Actually, it was really good. But really short. At the end, I was like, "Wait... it just started... right?"

To Sam About Chinese Yoyo Class

Hmmm... That would be good. Yes, you should. YES, YOU SHOULD!! Cause we're going to have a new teacher, and he's going to be really good. (That performance he did at the capitol, that was nothing.) It's fun. And quiet. If fun and quiet meant having a hunk of plastic spinning really fast that it's dangerous hit your face every ten seconds, then yeah, it's fun and quiet. (No, seriously, you can't imagine how fast they go; they leave scars sometimes. But it's okay, after a couple of harsh hits on your head, it's fine.)
Like once at a performance, we were practicing outside, and one of our boys didn't catch their yoyo and it ALMOST hit Shell's let. Okay. Number one. Her LEG. How much would that have hurt? None! And number two. It didn't even hit her! But even so, her mom goes all, "No! No! Don't hurt my Shell! You almost hit her! Be careful!"
And Shell was just like, "...??..."
We were talking about this an hour or so later, and Al says, "Yeah, the parents must not know we get hit in the head with yoyos every day. We're just like-- ... what? A yoyo hit me? Oh. Okay."
So, basically, Sam, yes, I think you should join our team.

SOOOO COOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!

YOU KNOW WHAT'S SO COOL?!
The fire alarm just went off in my house, so I decided to just listen to music so it won't bother me if it goes off again.
I'm listening to (you guess, you already know) and I have the volume kinda up high (not LOUD loud, just not quiet) AND IT'S SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT'S LIKE SURROUND SOUND!!
I'M FALLING IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG OVER AGAIN!!

Neopets

I know this is going to sound wierd, but I'm hooked back on Neopets again... I just sell/trade to get more points... I like it. I don't play the games and whatever, like the commercials advertise.
Just the fun stuff.
Like buying/trading, then getting more points that I started off with.

Dominoes

Last night I went with Erin and Brandon to someone's house for dinner. We ate, then played this three-hour game of dominoes. It was so long, but at the same time hilarious-- especially when we all started getting tired around 11:00. The game went from 9:00 to 12:00.

ARGH!! (FRUSTRATION!!)

I'm making a video that would be AWESOME except Windows Live Movie Maker isn't working!! I mean, technically, it is, but it blacks out the screen in some random clips, and then sometimes it just stops the sound. And other times some clips have both just blackness and no sound. It's SO ANNOYING. The video took two hours to write and film.
