I set up a microphone (a real recording kind, not the kind that... not the standard kind that you hold) in my room and have headphones, and I call it my studio. I hope I can get more things in there (we have, like, everything, I just need to figure out what will make it even more like a real studio) and... yep.
Meanwhile, I'm reading Wilbur's lines out of Charlotte's Web (I was doing Fern, but then she doesn't have many lines) and Anastasia's lines from 100 Cupboards. I read for an hour last night, and it really does feel like I'm recording for a character's voice.
I want to go through This is a Test for Alan's lines, but... it'll make me mad that I didn't get the part.
So I'll ask again-- Sam?? Please, can I borrow your scripts?? (Skandie-- really, they don't let you keep the scripts? They let us keep ours!) Thank you!
