I am SOOO relieved... I just told my violin teacher that I wasn't going to be practicing All-State music anymore cause--
1) I'd have to be in the top twenty-four in the REGION (which is pretty hard by itself)
2) I'd have to learn ALL the music (All-State music is funny until you realize you have to learn it
3)I'm just not ready for the contest. If you mess up, you're automatically disqualified.
So now I don't have to practice it anymore! But that means that I used two months practicing something I don't need...
But I really don't regret it.
Now I know what to expect from All-State music in the later years.
