My back has been hurting (probably from dance class) and last night my mom decided to use an Asian... thing... to help it.
It looked like a long cylinder of charcoal, but then she lit it on fire over the stove and then held it over my back.
At first I was like, "Um, no, it's okay, I don't need that," but it felt soooo good cause it was so warm...
(It didn't, like, touch my back, she just held it over so that it made the air warm.)
Then after about twenty minutes it hadn't even burned a fourth of the way, so my mom got impatient and broke the end off outside.
It made this terrible smell... it didn't make smoke, so the smoke alarms didn't go off, but it made this smell halfway between smoked meat and someone smoking.
I had to open the windows...
It worked, though. But I have no intention of ever using that thing again.
