Today I had my violin contest.
I forgot I wasn't using my music, so I turned the stand around to the correct side. Then I realized I wasn't even using the stand, and it kinda got in the way a couple of times, but all I had to do was just step back.
I really wasn't sure how I did.
I got a 1C, which is the best-- meaning I'm going to state!
After I played, I helped as a runner with one of my friends, Dolphin. All we did was walk around, pick up the pink papers the judges wrote on and the music, then take it to the library. Then, at the library, Dolphin and I got a lot of food they had. We got food cause we go to Circle Stone High, and our orchestra director's running the whole contest. That's why we get to be runners. That's why we get food. FOOD!!!!
When everything was about done, we were packing all the food and drinks back into someone's car. Dolphin, Leana, and her sister, Claire, decided to get a can of Sprite Zero (cool blue cans!), shake it up, and chunk it into the parking lot.
So they did.
It was pretty funny.
It didn't do much. All it did was bounce off the ground and then start spurting out from a hole in the top.
Then Leana felt brave enough to pick it up and throw it at the ground AGAIN. When we were walking back towards the building, one of the judges drove by and pointed his fingers from his eyes to us. He was joking, though.
Pretty much the entire time I walked around like a random person who just happened to be watching, while they did the whole Sprite thing.
Then, when we got back to the place where we dumped the ice from the cooler out, Zechariah came out and started eating the ice. He said, "So what? It was from the top." Um, yeah... we stepped on it. Poor Zechariah. :P
