Robert, our Chinese Yo-Yo teacher, was sharing ideas for our next performance. He introduced a new idea: in one performance we can have a main character who's really animated and dramatic, and who reacts to a lot of the tricks.
I was that only one who wanted to do it, and I wanted to reaaaaaaaaally bad.
But what did Robert say?
"Well... when they do that one trick, you know, there's going to be a really big drop between Allen and Shell."
Okay. ONE trick.
It kinda hurts that I was rejected without even being considered.
