I had a violin recital tonight for what I'll be playing at contest Saturday.
I went waaaaaaaay too fast. I just didn't really think to go slower, that the accomplanist would slow down with me.
And I forgot to say my name and what I was going to play. No one reminded me, either. It was pretty embarrassing.
Afterwards, my mom was getting all mad that I didn't play in a quartet (no one wanted to do one!!) and how I should have played louder, and how I did EVERYTHING wrong. And when she was done saying EVERYTHING that I did wrong, she started over again and listed everything again and again.
If she hadn't said anything, I would have been okay.
Now she's ruined my confidence (which she also yelled at me for not having).
