SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!

SNOW TODAY!!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!!
School called us at, like, 5:00 in the morning. I was so happy I didn't have to get up, cause I'm losing sleep due to musical practices lasting until 9:30.
So I slept in until 8:17 or so. And I looked out the window, and it was white-- except for the many blank grass spots.
Anyway, being the Texan I am, got all excited over it and woke Ch1k3n up. I said, "It's snowing!" and pulled open the curtains. And the front yard was nearly unrecognizable. I mean, it was like the pictures of a neighborhood on a Christmas card, minus the fireplaces by the window. His jaw dropped, then he playfully dropped, as if he fainted. Then he starting being all happy about the snow (I'm getting a little creeped out at this point) and he goes, "YOU WANT TO PLAY IN THE SNOW?!?!?!? no, wait, I'm still tired. Wait until I get up."
Right when I leave the hallway he's already up. So much for waiting.
But, then, as it often is with people his age, the excitement wore off as easily as it had come.
He took, like, only ten pictures outside then settled in front of the computer. And stayed there.
While my mom took me to the little frisbee-throwing place behind the park where there's a lot of hills.
There was so many dogs and people using all kinds of stuff to sled (including boogie boards, a wooden sled, and you'll laugh at this-- a laundry basket).
We had one of those sledding disks. It. Was. Fun. I won't even go through the details, cause experiences can't be read about, they can only be lived.
I even got my mom to sled! (Sam, can you imagine that?) She was half-screaming the whole way, although it was probably not even ten yards across. But it was fun and she went twice.
We trudged the way uphill back home...
And now we will begin to enjoy the "drink hot chocolate" part of a snow day.

Hopefully.
