Shin Splints!

I have shin splints, meaning that the muscle on my shins aren't strong enough and are pulling away from the bone.
Yup.
So I have to go in for therapy from the trainers at my school. That's the nice thing about my school-- I can get treatment for free anytime that would cost a lot if I went to a doctor.
What they did yesterday and this afternoon was tape an ice bag onto my leg. I kept it on for about thirty minutes (it's COLD!) and then take it off. When I take it off and touch my leg, it feels SO cold I can't even believe it.
This morning I went in early for therapy. They put some sort of gel on my leg, then got a laser and rubbed it circles, spreading the gel around. It didn't really hurt-- it just felt like millions of hairs being plucked out INSIDE my leg. It hurt at some points... but after about two minutes it was done.
I'm going back tomorrow to do that again. I have to do that until it's done.
