Today I went to watch the America's Got Talent Auditions (the ones that made it past the previous auditions)... it was fun. Nick Cannon was there. He's famous. REALLY famous. Then there were the two regular judges-- Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, then the new judge, Howard Stern. (Apparently Howard Stern isn't that great of a person... he has a reputation for just being bad.) Howard's mean. Really mean. Howie can be mean, too. But it was cool seeing all of them. There was this one girl who tried out (I don't even know how she got to that round at all), and about ten seconds after she started, she had all the judges press the X on her. Howard started critiquing her, and she said, "Really? I'm so sad."
"Why... what... why are you sad?"
"Cause I came here to see YOU! And now you're being all mean to me!"
"Well... you, like, don't have talent... You can't rap."
"I'm not rapping, I'm talking fast."
"Most rappers talk fast."
"Well... okay, I just had to make up a talent so I could come see YOU!"
And she was so happy about seeing Howard that he got up, walked on the stage, and gave her a hug... And she didn't let go. She just kept holding on... and she made him dance with her, then she dragged him offstage (I think they took a picture) and then they came back onstage, then she went back to squeezing him again, then he went back down to his chair. o.O That was amusing. Needless to say, they will NOT be seeing her back in Vegas.
